The flyboard by Zapata Racing was created by Franky Zapata in France in 2011 and has become the fastest growing extreme water sport in the world. The flyboard works on a water propulsion system. The flyboard is connected to the jetski by a hose redirecting the water-flow pressure to nozzles placed either side of the board. Using your weight the rider directs the board right or left, up or down while the flyboard operator controls the speed. Anyone can ride the flyboard with 20 minutes of safety instruction. We offer waterskiing and Wakeboarding at Corfu Ski Club. Nikos Gatsios, the owner, is the Waterski Coach. He is a former European Waterski Champion, and holds various titles for Tricks, Slalom and Jump. Nikos has a great passion for this sport and is able to pass on his knowledge and expertise to others. Lessons and courses are available. Each course is structured to suit your level of ability, whether you are an expert or a beginner. Beginners: Waterski, Mono ski, kid’s skis, Wakeboard. Advanced: Mono ski, Tricks, Jump, Slalom.
